How long have you been doing lashes and brows for?

I have been doing brows for 10 years and lash lifts for 5, I absolutely love both transformations, and seeing my clients faces light up makes my day, and cements why I love what I do!

Why should a client choose a lashlift over lash extensions?

A lash lift lengthens and strengthens your own lashes without using lash extensions. It can complement the application of lash extensions, in order to facilitate the applications when their lashes are too straight or too curved.

Lash lifts offer more lasting results than lash extensions, they last for around 6-8 weeks, while lash extensions last for only 3 to 4 weeks. And the costs add up.

What is a Brow Lamination?

A brow lamination creates voluminous, full, feathery brows that are defined and yet natural looking. The end result is super smooth brows that look brushed up. 

The treatment restructures the brow hairs to keep them in a desired shape for up to 8 weeks.

What sort of maintenance is required to maintain a lashlift and brow lamination?

The only maintenance after a lash lift or brow lamintation is to not wet the lashes and brows for 4 hours to allow for the keratin serum to work its magic by rehydrating and nourishing the hair follicles.

Another bonus of a lash lift is you can rub your eyes and not have to worry about lashes falling out like you do with extensions.

How often should we book in for brows and lash lifts/tints?

It all depends on your lash and brow growth cycle but I advise my clients to rebook for a lash lift every 8 weeks so they can get the most out of their treatments, the more regularly you come for a lash lift the more lifted and longer your lashes will look. 

As for brows I recommend booking every 6 weeks. that way the hairs have enough time to grow back to a suitabale length to be waxed but not too long that you'll be running around saying you look like John Howard! 

Will the process damage my lashes or brows?

Can I wear Mascara after the treatment?

Absolutely. it’s totally fine to wear mascara and eyeliner 4 hours after your treatment. However, most people choose not to wear mascara as they feel the effect of the lash lift is enough to pop the eyes.

When should I book in to look my best if I have an event coming up?

Brows - I would book in a week before your event so your brows are looking their best and your skin has had time to settle down from any waxing. 

Lash lifts -  I highly recommend having them done no less than 3 weeks before your event as a fresh lash lift can be way too curly for a makeup artist to try and attempt to put false lashes on them, and speaking from experience it makes their job a lot harder and takes a bit more time, so a month in advanced is recommended.
